This workflow is designed for screenshots, saved photos, product labels, shipping labels, and images containing more than one code. Cropping isolates the target and adds space around it to improve recognition.
How to use it
- Open the scanner and choose Image Upload.
- Select or drag a JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, or BMP image.
- Crop closely around the barcode you want to read, then scan.
- Copy the result or keep it in local scan history.
Image scanning tips
- Keep the full barcode and its blank quiet zone inside the crop.
- Rotate sideways photos before scanning.
- For an image with several codes, crop and scan each target separately.
- The image is decoded on this device and is never sent to our server.
